The Chithrapournami Pongala Maholsavam 2026 at Sree Alukadu Devi Temple, Trivandrum is a grand annual festival celebrated with deep devotion and traditional Kerala rituals. The festival begins on April 23, 2026 at 5:00 AM with the temple opening and Nirmalyam darshan. At 6:00 AM, Ganapathi Homam and special poojas will be performed followed by evening devotional bhajans and cultural programs.
From April 24 to April 27, 2026, daily rituals begin at 5:30 AM with Nirmalyam darshan. Ganapathi Homam and Devi poojas are performed at 6:00 AM, and in the evenings around 6:30 PM, bhajans and cultural programs are conducted.
On April 27, 2026 at 7:00 AM, Ayilya Pooja for Naga Devata is performed. The evening is dedicated to devotional music and special ritual offerings.
On April 28, 2026 at 6:00 PM, the grand Thalappoli procession begins with traditional decorations and lamps. By 6:30 PM, devotional music, rituals, and cultural celebrations take place.
