This ancient temple festival is dedicated to Lord Mahadeva (Lord Shiva) and is conducted with strict adherence to Vedic traditions and tantric rituals under the guidance of experienced temple priests. During the festival period, devotees witness important rituals such as Bhagavatha Parayanam, Kalasha Pooja, Abhishekam, Pushpabhishekam, Deeparadhana, and Sapthamathrukkal Seva.
