Srimad Bhagavatha Saptaha Yajnam

The sacred Srimad Bhagavatha Saptaha Yajnam at Thuravoor Maha Temple, Alappuzha is one of the spiritually significant devotional events celebrated with immense faith and devotion in Kerala. Organized under the guidance of the Travancore Devaswom Board and the temple advisory committee, this divine festival will be conducted from May 10 to May 17, 2026. The week long yajnam is dedicated to the holy recitation and interpretation of the Srimad Bhagavatam, attracting devotees, spiritual seekers and families from different parts of Kerala.

The yajnam will be led by Brahmasree Vedamritham N. Udayan Namboothiri along with esteemed co-acharyans, bringing deep spiritual knowledge and traditional Vedic practices to the devotees. The ceremonies begin with special rituals and the auspicious Bhadradeepa Prakashanam conducted after the evening Deeparadhana on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Throughout the festival days, devotees can participate in sacred prayers, Bhagavatha discourse sessions, devotional chanting and temple rituals performed in a serene spiritual atmosphere.
