The Thiruvutsavam 2026 at the Sree Krishna Swami Temple, Mavelikkara in Alappuzha district is a grand and spiritually enriching annual festival celebrated with immense devotion and cultural vibrancy. Dedicated to Navaneetha Krishna, the festival is conducted from April 03 to April 12, 2026 showcasing a perfect blend of sacred rituals and traditional art forms of Kerala.
The festival begins with the Thrikodiyettu and continues for ten days with daily rituals such as Palliyunarthal, Nirmalya Darshan, Sreebali and Deeparadhana. Each day is marked by special offerings like Chandanacharthu representing the Dasavatharam, highlighting divine incarnations including Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parasurama, Rama, Balarama and Mohini.
A major highlight is the Garuda Vahana Ezhunnallathu, along with the traditional Pallivetta and the grand Arattu procession held at Kandiyoor Arattu Kadavu.
