Medabharani Mahotsavam
The Medabharani Mahotsavam 2026 at Sree Naaluvila Devi Temple, Ennaikkadu, Alappuzha is a highly auspicious annual festival dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. This sacred celebration will be held on April 17, 2026, bringing together thousands of devotees for divine blessings and traditional rituals. The festival is marked by the famous Pongala Samarpanam, which begins at 7:30 AM where women devotees offer their prayers and preparations to the Goddess with deep devotion.
The rituals are conducted under the spiritual guidance of Brahmasree Thazhmon Madham Kandarar Rajeevar, ensuring the continuation of ancient Tantric traditions. At 9:00 AM, special ceremonies including Kalasha Pooja and other sacred rituals are performed by Brahmasree Sreejith Namboothiri, enhancing the divine atmosphere of the temple. In the evening, the temple witnesses the sacred Annopoli at 7:30 PM followed by traditional festivities that reflect Kerala’s rich cultural heritage.
On April 18, 2026, the festival continues with Ariyippu and Akathezhunnallippu, marking the concluding rituals of the celebration.
